How I Coach
Whatever your goals are- losing weight, 5k’s, long distance road races, track races, sprints, XC running, triathlon running, etc… Training with me, you will learn to run from the ground up, with me coaching you by your side, stride for stride. I run the workouts with you and teach you how to stay right on the target pace. With this approach, you will get the most out of me as a coach and the most out of your training. There are many aspects to becoming the optimal runner:
- Workouts & fitness.
- Fine tuning runner’s form.
- The big importance of diet & nutrition.
- The logistics of workout days and race days.
- Training healthy.
- And of course the motivation and focus side of running.
All of these aspects I deliver in every workout. In a short period of time you will find yourself being a far more complete, faster and focused runner than you were previously.
Your workouts will follow a very focused yet flexible routine where you learn to train properly and prepare yourself for any race day scenario.
I use a variety of workout venues which include structured workouts on trails, hills, parks, track workouts and road workouts.
All workouts are carefully calculated to your ability level. You will be pushed to your threshold level which will result in positive fitness gains that you will notice week by week.
Everything I know and apply in my workouts are aspects of training that worked very well for me. My knowledge and training style is first hand experience from the top coaches and names in the running world.
